Are you a creative, data-driven marketer with a passion for growing brand visibility and driving online engagement? We're seeking a Digital Marketing Executive based in Tanjung Tokong, Penang, to lead and manage our digital presence across social media, advertising platforms, and web channels - supporting our Cafeteria, Japanese Restaurant, homestay and others Brands. You'll take charge of content creation, digital campaigns, paid ads, and platform management to boost engagement, drive bookings, and build strong brand identities.
Key Responsibilities
️ Content & Campaign Development
- Create tailored marketing content for each brand segment including food promotion for the cafeteria, seasonal menus for the Japanese Restaurant, and room offers for the homestay and hotel.
- Design and execute brand-specific campaigns such as lunch specials, staycation promos, and event packages, targeting diverse customer groups
- Coordinate and plan photoshoots and video production (e.g. food styling, room walkthroughs, behind-the-scenes content) for social media and advertising use.
Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Develop and run digital marketing campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, XiaoHongShu, and Google.
- Plan and manage content calendars in alignment with overall brand goals and seasonal promotions.
- Design and publish engaging content — posts, reels, ads, and stories — to drive engagement and reach.
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads) to maximize return on ad spend.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and platform algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
Website & Platform Management
- Improve SEO, update and manage the company's official website content, and booking platform pages (e.g., Agoda, Airbnb, Booking.com, etc) updated with latest promotions, room packages, booking information, blog posts, etc
- Maintain accurate and appealing listings on food delivery platform (e.g., GrabFood, etc) and Google business.
Customer Engagement & Community Building
- Act as the first responder to all digital inquiries from guests across social media, website chat, WhatsApp, and other platforms.
- Provide fast, friendly, and accurate responses before escalating to the appropriate department. (e.g., reservations, front desk, F&B)
- Monitor and manage reviews on platforms such as Google, Facebook, and TripAdvisor to strengthen brand reputation and customer trust.
️ Email & CRM Marketing
- Build and send newsletters and email campaigns to past guests and diners for new offers and event announcements.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with operations, creatives, and reservation teams to align campaigns with real-time business needs.
- Generate monthly reports on performance, engagement, campaign ROI, and future recommendations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or lifestyle industries.
- Proficient in Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Canva and content editing tools (e.g., CapCut, VN)
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and online booking platforms.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a bonus)
- Good sense of design, trends, and timing
- Able to multitask across multiple brands and platforms
