We are looking for a professional and experienced School Counsellor to help students prepare for academic achievement, ensure career readiness, and develop personal or social competencies through a comprehensive, preventive, and developmental counseling program. The goal is to ensure that students become productive and well-adjusted adults.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish the school counseling program and develop activities and resources to implement and evaluate it.
2. Provide individual and group counseling services to meet students' developmental, preventive, and remedial needs.
3. Source appropriate professionals to come into the school and prepare talks.
4. Assist parents and teachers in understanding and responding to the developmental levels of students.
5. Provide direct support and counseling services to students.
6. Work with a diverse range of issues.
7. Liaise with the pastoral care team.
8. Keep case records of counseling sessions in a secure place.
9. Inform students about the counseling services, the role of the counselor, and confidentiality boundaries.
10. Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive developmental guidance program through workshops, seminars, and talks.
11. Conduct assemblies once per term.

Requirements:

1. Minimum a Degree in Counseling and Psychology, with a valid counselor license.
2. Integrity and professionalism.
3. Ability to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse student body.
4. Working knowledge of various counseling models, practices, and resources.
5. Engaging interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to collect and analyze data.
