Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts department, ensuring proper accounting methods, policies, and principles are followed.
2. Review financial reports to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and meet all submission deadlines.
3. Prepare and analyze full sets of accounts, overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), inventory control, and COGS to ensure timely management reporting and statutory compliance.
4. Manage cash flow, including forecasting and planning, to maintain adequate liquidity for daily operations.
5. Monitor and verify all bank and cash transactions daily, liaise with banks on financial matters, and manage insurance renewals for the group of companies.
6. Support other management roles and ensure the effectiveness of the quality management system.
7. Establish and maintain internal controls through existing business processes and accounting policies.
8. Prepare annual budgets, monitor performance against budget, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
9. Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Managerial experience in a similar role, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
• Strong analytical skills with problem-solving and timely decision-making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and influencing skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Autocount accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, with the ability to generate complex reports from multiple data sources and analyze large datasets.
