Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts department, ensuring proper accounting methods, policies, and principles are followed.
- Review financial reports to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and meet all submission deadlines.
- Prepare and analyze full sets of accounts, overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), inventory control, and COGS to ensure timely management reporting and statutory compliance.
- Manage cash flow, including forecasting and planning, to maintain adequate liquidity for daily operations.
- Monitor and verify all bank and cash transactions daily, liaise with banks on financial matters, and manage insurance renewals for the group of companies.
- Support other management roles and ensure the effectiveness of the quality management system.
- Establish and maintain internal controls through existing business processes and accounting policies.
- Prepare annual budgets, monitor performance against budget, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Managerial experience in a similar role, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
- Strong analytical skills with problem-solving and timely decision-making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and influencing skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Autocount accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, with the ability to generate complex reports from multiple data sources and analyze large datasets.
