Who we’re looking for / The role

We are looking for a dynamic Ecommerce Manager, Malaysia to drive our online sales for our Malaysia Business Unit. You will be responsible for sales across both marketplace and DTC ecommerce channels, defining the overall strategies to drive sales and running experiments to optimize our conversion funnels. You will work closely with your ecommerce counterparts in other countries, as well as the Marketing and Operations teams in Malaysia.

Reports to: Regional Ecommerce Lead

Location: Malaysia

Core Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning (10%):

  • Own ecommerce sales targets for Malaysia, defining plans by channels, levers and strategic initiatives in order to hit them

Ecommerce growth planning and execution (30%):

  • Plan and execute digital marketing, software and other spends according to P&L plans, and identify opportunities for reallocation or incremental investment
  • Create and implement tactical offers/mechanics/promotions to support marketing ads, campaigns and initiatives across marketplace, DTC and Tiktok platform.
  • Drive growth by collaborating with marketers to develop and execute both digital and physical marketing pushes such as events, sampling, live-stream selling etc.
  • Analyze marketplace ad spend and optimize keywords, ad settings, and overall ad strategy accordingly

Ecommerce campaign planning (30%):

  • Shortlist, secure, and manage payday, double digits campaigns, launches and any signed packages with the platforms with RoAS in mind
  • Change out visuals and PDP images/copy regularly, depending on campaign (working hand-in-hand with design and brand team)
  • Own relationships with ecommerce channels to maximise our visibility and growth on marketplaces

Growth hacking and experimentation (20%):

  • Own the consumer experience across ecommerce channels, optimizing CVR by hacking listings, pricing, exposures and any other consumer touchpoints
  • For each channel (e.g. Shopee, TikTok, Shopify etc.), experiment continuously to improve ATC, CVR and AOV
  • Drive PDP improvements, bundling, volume promotions, and other Ecommerce optimizations and improvements across all Ecommerce touchpoints

Internal stakeholder collaboration (10%):

  • Coordinate with Marketing and Operations team on topics such as marketing collaterals for ecommerce channels and product availability, respectively

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Hands-on experience managing and growing Ecommerce channels (e.g. Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Shopify)
  2. A hunger for growth is critical because you will be driving some of the biggest channels of Blood’s sales growth
  3. Fast learner and a team player with a bias to action, while being detailed-oriented
  4. Strong analytical ability to use quantitative data to develop actionable insights and then execute them, with a deep understanding of key performance metrics such as CTR, ATC, AOV, CVR.
