The E-Commerce Manager is a people management role responsible for leading a team that includes, but is not limited to, digital sales executives, fulfillment supervisors, and executives. As part of the management team, this role will participate in management meetings with other Heads of Departments (HODs) and report to senior management.

- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team to conceptualize, develop, implement, and maintain a pipeline of optimizations aimed at improving overall company sales performance and brand positioning.
- Strategic Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with key leaders (Brick & Mortar, Merchandising Planning & Control, Marketing & Communications, and Creative) to brainstorm and drive strategies focused on customer acquisition and increasing lifetime value, while ensuring smooth operations and adherence to project timelines.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Apply advanced knowledge and best practices to create and improve workflows, methods, and procedures for the team.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance metrics, analyse A/B test results, and report findings to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and marketing campaigns to drive online revenue growth across our website (.com) and marketplaces (ShopeeMY, LazadaMY, TikTokMY, Zalora, and PGMall.
- Manage the team’s digital marketing efforts and budget (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Lazada Ads, Shopee Ads), providing performance feedback and strategic insights to both the team and management.
- Coordinate and manage livestream operations, including supervising key personnel to ensure seamless execution in areas such as host scheduling, timing, content delivery, and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with the fulfilment supervisor to ensure efficient fulfillment operations and a positive customer experience (maintaining healthy shop metrics).
- Engage with external brands for collaboration opportunities, overseeing marketing campaigns and joint programs.
- Perform sales analysis, gather insights, create forecasts, and ensure the P&L aligns with company objectives.
- Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing strategies, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with the buying team on inventory planning and management.
- Take on additional tasks and special projects to support the broader goals and objectives of the company. (e.g. new e-brand launch, new channel for livestreaming)
- To assist superior and take up ad-hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.
