Job description

Be at the forefront of Insurtech in Singapore (support from Malaysia). You will be the Business Analyst in IT Consumer for Payment Hub. You will take care of insurance projects (e.g., Payment Hub, insurance product launch projects) related initiatives and integration with various point-of-sales systems.

Your valuable domain knowledge will play a key role in the advancement and growth of Payment Hub and help our customers (insurance companies) cope with the fast-changing business and digital transformation.

You are responsible for providing technical and developmental support across the full lifecycle of projects from planning through implementation. You will be fully responsible for the delivery of critical components and modules in various Data/Web projects.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Understand business requirements or problem statements to document business requirement documents or user stories to walk through and review with Business Analyst Manager, Product Owner, and business users.
2. Test Plan and Execution: Develop the test plan and test matrix for Business Analyst Test and/or User Acceptance Test, and test execution and track defects during BAT/UAT.
3. Application Support and Issue Resolution: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 functional support, troubleshoot issues from UAT or production, and maintain incident logs.
4. Training and User Enablement: Draft training materials or user guides to train users or new team members from Business Analysts, Testers, or Developers.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma and above in Information Technology/Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst and Test Analyst (insurance domain knowledge is a plus). Experience in Test Automation tools such as Selenium or Power Automate is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Postman, SQL.
• Soft Skills: Result-oriented with a detail-oriented mindset, quick learner, interested in learning new knowledge, business processes, or technology stacks as projects require. Able to work independently and flexibly, with an analytical approach to problem-solving and handling multiple tasks under pressure. Hands-on approach and a 'can-do' attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, comfortable working across cultures and regions.
