About the role

As a Manager, Business Support, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales and business growth. This full-time position, based in Kuching, Sarawak, under the Sales & Marketing Department, involves managing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert support to ensure the success of the sales function.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Prospecting for new business opportunities and securing new customers through proactive outreach and networking.
4. Providing technical and commercial support to the sales team for seamless customer experiences.
5. Collaborating with internal departments such as corporate strategy, product development, and finance to support sales initiatives and ensure integrated business strategies.
6. Monitoring and analyzing sales data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
7. Mentoring and coaching junior sales team members to foster their professional development.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in telecommunications or IT services, with 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Excellent skills in data analysis, performance tracking, reporting, and business analytics to support sales efficiency and growth.
• Proficiency in translating data insights into actionable strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with sales processes, forecasting, and business operations is preferred.
• Candidates from Sarawak are preferred.
