- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration (preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting
Operations Management
- Responsible for the quality delivery of services contracted by the client, including Warehousing, Customer Service, Freight, Distribution (including Home Deliveries), Value Added Services (Product Assembly, Post-Delivery Service), etc.
- Provide leadership to teams to achieve contractual KPIs.
- Assist Warehouse Manager in setting controls to measure, track, benchmark, and report processes, and eliminate performance gaps.
- Oversee project implementation and onboarding of new clients.
- Initiate continuous process improvements to resolve issues, support client growth, and increase profitability.
- Lead vendor selection, including capability assessment and benchmarking.
- Assist in setting vendor KPIs, negotiate prices and terms, and manage vendor contracts.
- Establish a vendor rating system to monitor performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure vendor compliance with company policies, regulations, HSSE, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure all services are priced profitably, traceable, billable, and documented in service agreements.
- Work with operations to control costs and ensure account profitability.
- Manage the annual operating budget, monitor spending, justify discrepancies, and report.
- Collaborate on CPI initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Finance to prepare financial reports, analysis, and commentary.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing; manage receivables and payables to maintain cash flow.
Client Management
- Participate in operational review meetings with internal teams and clients.
- Support the Warehouse Manager as the primary contact for customers in their absence.
- Develop trusted relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Ensure contractual deliverables are met and address shortcomings proactively.
- Resolve customer complaints and improve processes to prevent issues.
- Communicate performance metrics regularly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Contract Management
- Understand contract details thoroughly.
- Negotiate with customers to foster win-win relationships.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
- Expand business scope through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment)
- Collaborate with HSSE Head to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
