Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor transportation operations.
• Ensure all M & E maintenance processes for incinerator and laundry plant are performed efficiently and effectively.
• Attend to breakdown maintenance of M & E equipment or systems at Kamunting Plant, during and after working hours (on call), and report faults immediately to superiors.
• Provide corrective and preventive actions for M & E services by evaluating and identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintain firefighting equipment regularly.
• Ensure electrical equipment, including motors, lighting, socket outlets, and air conditioning panels, are functioning properly through regular servicing.
• Follow correct procedures when operating M & E and other equipment at all times.
• Comply with work instructions as required by management.
• Ensure all equipment breakdowns are recorded properly.

Analysis of Service Performance

• Maintain efficient control systems for records, communication, and documentation related to legislation requirements.
• Document and update data and records related to M & E operations regularly.

Compliance to SOPs, Statutory, and Legal Requirements

• Work towards maintaining ISO certification and meet standards set by internal and external parties.
• Ensure all M & E equipment processes follow SOPs and comply with statutory and legal requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping standards at all times.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Follow safety standard procedures diligently.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with relevant procedures.

Job Requirements

• Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read and understand M & E floor plans.
• Ability to work independently and in groups, interacting effectively with all levels of personnel.
