Security Assistant – Night Shift (CMS, CCTV & Patrol Monitoring)

Job Summary:

MUHAFIZ SECURITY SDN. BHD. is seeking a highly disciplined and motivated Security Assistant (Night Shift) to support our 24/7 Central Monitoring System (CMS) operations. The role includes monitoring security guard activities, anti-crime patrols, vehicle tracking, CCTV feeds, visitor logs, and real-time alerts. Candidates must be tech-savvy with strong computer literacy, able to work independently, handle pressure, and coordinate rapid emergency responses when needed. This is a night shift role on a 12-hour basis with rotating off days.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor daily guard attendance and patrol activities via GuardPRO system in real time.

Operate and monitor Central Monitoring System (CMS), ensuring 24/7 security readiness and rapid response capability.

Respond to panic button/emergency triggers, contact relevant emergency services (Police, Bomba, Ambulance) and inform site personnel.

Monitor and track Anti-Crime Patrol team movement consistently.

Monitor and report vehicle tracking (KATSANA) system in real time.

Supervise Visitor Management System (VMS) to ensure all visitor records and access logs are captured accurately.

Monitor CCTV feeds (Video Management System - VMS) actively and report any suspicious activities immediately.

Submit daily reports twice a day, and consolidate weekly and monthly reports via WhatsApp and email to the Operations Manager.

Perform basic IT troubleshooting for CMS, mobile apps, surveillance systems, and reporting tools.

Fast learner – quickly understand and operate new security software and monitoring platforms.

Uphold strict discipline, confidentiality, and standard operating procedures at all times.

Requirements:

Malaysian citizen with a valid driving license (Class B2, D or higher).

Minimum SPM 3 credits with Diploma; added advantage if certified in security, IT, or related field.

Computer literate – skilled in Microsoft Office, basic networking, and online platforms.

Experience in handling security software, CMS, CCTV systems, or control room monitoring preferred.

Able to work 12-hour night shifts on a 24/7 rotational schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Strong coordination, observation, and communication skills.

Self-motivated, independent, and reliable under pressure.

Physically and mentally fit, able to make quick decisions during emergencies.

Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.

Working Hours:

Night Shift Only: 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 6 days/week (1 rotational off day)
