  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws.

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support month-end/year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing full sets of accounts and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

  • Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and accounting standards (e.g., SST, income tax).
  • Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Monitor and control accounting procedures and systems.
  • Ensure accurate and timely closing of accounts (month-end and year-end).
  • Support management in financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff if applicable.
