Job description

To assist the Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the session, to establish policies, plan, organize, and implement all strategies and concepts to ensure process improvement, staff development, and quality service aligned with the company’s objectives.

As a relief to the Department Head, to run the operation by monitoring and implementing according to department standards.

To assist the Department Head in managing, reviewing, and taking corrective actions based on the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) cycle concerning the performance and operation of the section.

Ensure timely auto-debit enrollment and billing processing according to schedule.

Ensure all payments are inputted, adjusted, or reversed by staff within the predetermined SLA.

Lead the payment section by ensuring smooth operation.

Ensure accuracy in payment processing and timely updates to customer accounts.

Ensure all payment adjustment requests from frontline staff are properly justified and comply with company guidelines.

Plan manpower effectively and ensure staffing meets daily capacity demands.

Regularly evaluate, review, and recommend operational KRAs (Key Result Areas) & KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), ensuring team members meet targets.

Train, supervise, and develop Team Leaders, including coaching, counseling, motivating, and disciplining.

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving escalated issues and taking appropriate corrective actions.

Ensure team members communicate and respond promptly to customer inquiries, as well as to branches, inter-departmental, and merchant communications within the specified time frames.

Keep all team members informed with up-to-date information.

Monitor daily payment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking, or related fields
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in payment operations, billing, reconciliation, or financial transaction processing within banking or financial services industry
  • At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role managing a team in payment or back-office operations
  • Proven experience in process improvement and implementing operational policies aligned with regulatory standards
  • Strong knowledge of payment systems, auto-debit processing, billing cycles, and reconciliation procedures
  • Familiarity with SLA management, internal controls, and compliance (e.g., BNM, AMLA, PDPA)
  • Proficiency in banking systems, payment platforms, and MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and coaching teams
