Job description

Position: Lead Project Engineer

Location: Selangor, Malaysia

Role Overview:

• The Engineering Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the Malaysia-based Engineering team, primarily composed of Application Design Engineers. This team handles the design and technical documentation of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems throughout the project lifecycle—from the handover by Sales to final delivery.
• In this role, you will lead, support, and develop the team to meet customer expectations regarding quality, cost, timely delivery, and satisfaction. You will also play a key role in improving departmental processes, especially those aligned with the requirements of the Oil & Gas (O&G) sector.
• As a member of the Engineering Leadership Team, you will work closely with the Head of Engineering on strategic initiatives and internal projects, while also participating in SIM and cross-departmental coordination meetings.
