Job description

Position : Process Engineer

Employment : Contract

Location : KL

Scope of Works:

• Leading/supporting process design activities for oil and gas facilities, including vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, control and relief systems, and instrumentation.
• Conducting transient flow analysis, multiphase and slug flow studies, flow assurance, water hammer evaluations, and gathering system analyses.
• Supporting front-end engineering and conceptual development under the Stage Gate process.
• Developing and reviewing process deliverables such as P&IDs, specifications, data sheets, and related documentation across Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
• Performing process and flow simulations using tools such as HYSYS, Pipeflo, and OLGA.
• Providing site supervision and commissioning support during project execution.
• Ensuring designs meet safety, quality, and operational standards with a strong understanding of oil and gas treatment and compression systems.

Requirement(s):

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or an equivalent professional body.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong background in process design and operational support.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency with a broad range of process and conceptual knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in process simulations and modeling software (e.g., HYSYS, Pipeflo, OLGA).
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and project execution methodologies across various stages of development.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
