Production & Warehouse Manager (Manufacturing Company in Penang Island)

• Responsible for effective daily management of the production operations, including planning and scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and facility and machinery maintenance.
• Lead and direct the production team to achieve operational goals and objectives, encompassing delivery deadlines, meeting quality standards, and resource optimization.
• Improve manufacturing processes and operations for continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, costs, and safety.
• Proactively address quality issues and customer complaints.
• Ensure warehouse management and inventory control are properly maintained.
• Lead and coach team activities, including staffing, monitoring performance metrics, and providing training and guidance to achieve optimal process efficiency.
• Coordinate workflow and maintain a productive working environment.
• Ensure daily operations adhere to company policies and operational standards.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery to customers.
• Manage preventative measures and breakdown maintenance of operational plant and machinery.
• Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for workers and equipment.
• Manage workplace discipline and provide guidance to subordinates.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Prefer candidates from the manufacturing industry with at least 7 years of people management experience.
• Willing to work in Penang, Bayan Lepas.
• Strong leadership qualities with planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
