Develop and execute the company’s strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability. Lead market expansion and identify new revenue opportunities within cold chain and related sectors (e.g. F&B)

Represent the company with clients, partners, investors, and regulatory bodies.

FINANCIAL

Own full P&L accountability, including capex planning, cost optimization, and pricing models.

Evaluating the impact and potential real-time visibility of the proposed logistics solutions changes such as routing, shipping modes, product volume or mixes.

Evaluate the cost effectiveness of business deals undertaken for key customers so as to ensure all business deals are profitably priced, cost effectively managed and services provided meet the high-quality standard requirements of customers.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING

Plan and develop the Business Development strategies by identifying opportunities and creating a customer focused strategy that continues to provide competitive advantage to address the customers supply chain challenges with Swift expertise and solutions so as to achieve sizable expansion, optimum growth and maximum profitability to meet shareholders’ expectations.

Strategize the development of the most competitive & winning solutions packages in meetingcustomers’ techno commercial requirements. calculate labour, equipment, facility and expense requirements based on transportation and warehousing design assumptions.

Identify solutions for customers that correspond to SWIFT solution sets through global and local synergistic partnership programs, targeted networking in order to search for viable potential business opportunities, new markets and additional revenue.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Provide strategic oversight of all cold chain operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals for safety, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

Champion the adoption of advanced technologies and process innovations to elevate warehouse performance, optimize the end-to-end supply chain, and enhance service delivery.

Drive enterprise-wide operational excellence through data-driven strategies focused on maximizing asset utilization, improving energy efficiency, and advancing key performance metrics across all facilities.

PERFORMANCE MONITORING & ANALYSIS

Identify the potential competitors and benchmark their performance against SWIFT through networking or participating in benchmark surveys so as to develop a winning strategy and to develop product or service differentiation to improve customer confidence, enhance efficiency, safety, improve, security, reduce cost, support SWIFT solution sets and generate business value.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Cultivate a customer-centric culture by embedding service excellence, responsiveness, and reliability into all aspects of operations and client engagement.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring the company consistently delivers on service-level agreements (SLAs) and exceeds expectations.

Leverage customer insights and feedback to shape service innovation, enhance the client experience, and strengthen long-term partnerships.

MANAGEMENT REPORTS

Compile and prepare sales performance reports i.e. daily, monthly, quarterly & yearly and provide relevant information and recommendations to facilitate management decision making process.

STAKEHOLDER ALIGNMENT & MANAGEMENT

Serve as the primary liaison between joint venture partners, ensuring strategic alignment and governance discipline.

Develop, manage and maintain good business relationships with industry peers and professional within JV, Group, industry consultants and investment bankers in order to acquire update, accurate and relevant data/ market intelligence for planning and research purposes.

ORGANIZATIONL AND EMPLOYEE’S CAPABILITIES DEVELOPMENT

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Monitor and analyze performance data to track progress towards objectives. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Build a high-performance culture focused on safety, customer service, and innovation. Set and communicate clearly performance expectations and review progress against development plans and provide coaching/guidance.

Identify, attract, retain and coach and develop subordinate to evaluate their capabilities and competencies levels to become qualified leaders in line with the Companies business objectives.

Comply with the organization’s health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) & ESG policies, maintain and continually improve the (HSEQ) & ESG management system, meet and exceed where practicable, (HSEQ) & ESG objectives, targets and legal requirements relevant to job responsibilities, actively encourage the implementation of workplace improvements in (HSEQ) & ESG and continuously promote the concepts of (HSEQ) & ESG among subordinates and peers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or other related field.

EXPERIENCE:

8-10 years’ experience in a senior leadership role within logistics, warehousing or cold chain industry.

Strong understanding of cold chain operations and distribution standards

Solid business acumen with hand-on exp. Managing P&L, budget and commercial strategies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Experience working with automation, IoT system, or green/ sustainable cold chain practices is an added advantage.
