Job description

Sales and Retail Merchandiser / Sales Assistant / Promoter (JB area)

Responsibilities include merchandise arrangement and maintaining product displays according to planograms and brand standards.

Set up promotional signage to ensure a strong in-store presence.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards according to statutory guidelines.

Communicate effectively and work closely with all relevant departments in HQ to ensure smooth outlet operations.

Scan goods and verify pricing accuracy.

Manage transactions with customers using POS systems.

Accept payments in cash or credit.

Perform daily closing procedures and ensure accuracy.

Restock inventory and monitor product availability.

Engage with customers to promote product features and benefits.

Develop strong relationships with store managers and staff.

Collect and submit reports with photos from store visits.

Requirements:
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Car allowance provided to cover travel costs.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in retail, merchandising, or customer service preferred (no experience also welcome).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
