Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of cost estimation, project budget, and cash flow based on preliminary or detailed design.
- Handling pre-contract activities such as tendering, cost planning, and budget estimates, as well as post-contract activities including site valuation, progress certificate preparation, variation orders, final accounts, procurement, and monitoring material and construction costs.
- Developing estimates and supporting in obtaining material and subcontractor pricing in collaboration with the project team.
- Sourcing subcontractors and suppliers, and negotiating for competitive prices.
- Reviewing specifications and drawings to determine scope of work, costing structures, contractual requirements, and preparing letters of award to subcontractors.
- Preparing progress claims for main contractors/clients and evaluating subcontractor claims and payment certificates.
- Conducting site valuations.
- Assisting in monitoring the project budget and implementing cost control measures.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, or a Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil).
- Experience in high-rise projects such as residential, hotels, office towers, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Preferably a Senior Executive specializing in Quantity Surveying or related fields.
