Role Description:
The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services that meet the company’s quality standards. The role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills, organizational abilities, and a focus on optimizing supply chain processes. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost savings and value for money.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and services required for production and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to avoid shortages or excesses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal regulations.
- Address and resolve issues related to supplier performance, delivery delays, or quality discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing dynamics.
Skills & Experience:

- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal regulations.
- Address and resolve issues related to supplier performance, delivery delays, or quality discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing dynamics.
- Mandarin language proficiency is a must.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with automation systems or components.
- Understanding of manufacturing or engineering supply chains.
- Experience in cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance improvement.
- Basic knowledge of machine vision systems or AI-related technologies (added advantage).
- Well-versed in logistics, including coordinating shipments, tracking orders, and ensuring on-time delivery.
