Job description

  1. Manage existing customers and prospect of new customers’ especially targeted market in engineering and manufacturing industries.
  2. Cultivate strong relationship with customers.
  3. Organize and plan proper scheduling of sales activities.
  4. Provide monthly MO (Monthly Objective) Forecast, Pipeline with rolling 3 months MO reporting beginning of each month.
  5. Responsible for the pre/post-sales’ activities for the promotion of Engineering software/ solutions and shall be willing to travel anywhere.
  6. Responsible for pre/post-sales duties which include demonstrating the company products to potential customers at customers’ site.
  7. Develop work statements for projects with customers. Provide consulting services at the customer site.
  8. Responsible for providing exceptional pre/post-sales technical support to the client, marketing department and prospects to help drive sales of our products.
  9. Conduct on-site and web-based software demonstrations and training classes.
  10. Provide comprehensive technical and application demos and understand requirements and run benchmarks.
  11. Competition tracking, benchmarking, coordinate with clients for implementing Engineering software’s.
  12. Provide demonstrations, presentations, case studies and product information CDs.
  13. Answer customer questions relating to products, competitive products, and technical issues relating to product integration within the customer’s environment.
  14. Ensure timely and accurate forecast – monthly and quarterly.
  15. Maintain healthy pipeline (sales funnel) size – 3x of target.
  16. Timely and accurate submission of report (E.g., sales activity report etc.).
  17. Execute the objectives of the BFT sales activities to ensure good sales management.
  18. Prepare sales report as required by the business unit head or management.
  19. Assist in any other ad-hoc task assigned by your superior or management.

Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering/ IT related field.
  2. Has working experience or knowledge related on Engineering Solutions or software (CAD/ CAM/ CAE/ SOLIDWORKS/ ANSYS/ PLM/ PDM etc.).
  3. Has working experience or knowledge related on Industrial Automation products and solutions (IoT, PLC, SCAD etc.).
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Goal-oriented, highly motivated, and good under pressure.
  6. Eagerness to learn is crucial.
  7. Able to travel and visit clients regularly.
