Senior Executive/Executive - Finance and Accounts

You will support the Finance & Accounts team in the preparation of month-end closing and perform other daily accounting functions.

Responsibilities

  1. Verify and process invoices, manage account payables in the system, and reconcile supplier statements of accounts.
  2. Perform daily accounting operations including consolidating receivables, verifying and processing invoices and payments, and reconciling statements of accounts.
  3. Handle bank-related transactions, monitor bank balances, and prepare remittances via online and/or cheque payments to suppliers.
  4. Perform month-end closing and manage a full set of accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
  5. Maintain organized documentation and filing of records to support all accounting entries.
  6. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial data entries into the accounting system, complying with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  7. Carry out ad-hoc accounting projects or assignments as needed.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a professional qualification in Accounting.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the property industry; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  3. Ability to handle a full set of accounts; experience with consolidation is an advantage.
  4. Good analytical skills.
  5. Organized with attention to detail.
  6. Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  7. Good communication skills in English and strong interpersonal skills.
  8. Proficient in MS Office applications.
  9. Resourceful, eager to learn, and maintain a positive working attitude.
  10. A team player.
