To handle procurement activities, including sourcing based on correct specifications and quantities, price comparison, lead time assessment, and issuing purchase orders according to purchase requisitions. Additionally, manage shipping, shipment handling, and customs clearance/logistics matters (inbound and outbound).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement and Cost Management: Conduct regular price benchmarking, explore alternative sourcing options, negotiate pricing, and maintain purchasing cost savings records.
  2. Order and Delivery Management: Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, follow up on outstanding requisitions and orders, and resolve issues with vendors regarding quantity, quality, services, or pricing.
  3. Logistics and Shipment Coordination: Arrange and oversee import and export logistics, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage shipping documentation to prevent delays or unexpected costs.
  4. Supplier and Compliance Management: Ensure supplier onboarding and re-evaluation follow company policies and international standards, including document submission, agreed payment terms, and supplier background checks.
  5. Recordkeeping and Issue Resolution: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, manage warranty claims and supplier-related issues, check stock availability, and handle supply chain or system-related concerns as they arise.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least a diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in procurement and/or customs clearance/logistics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in purchasing & warehouse management software SAP systems.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
