Our well-established client, an MNC specializing in telecommunications and information technology (ICT), is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented candidate for the following roles based in Kuala Lumpur:

• Senior Legal Contract Manager (IT, Network)
• Legal Contract Manager (IT, Network)

The Senior Legal Contract Manager and Legal Contract Manager will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts with domestic and global suppliers and partners. They will also provide remote legal support to the IT, Networks, and Property teams based in Singapore. The successful candidate will act as a strategic legal partner, resolving legal needs and developing strategies to address legal and commercial challenges.

Job Description:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on procurement, partnership, and other contracts with suppliers and partners.
• Proactively advise on legal, commercial, and operational risks associated with contracts.
• Collaborate with various business lines and stakeholders to provide pragmatic legal solutions aligned with company policies.
• Maintain documentation systematically with proper processes and policies, ensuring organizational memory.
• Work closely with the Legal team in Singapore, reporting and collaborating as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Law and admitted to practice in Malaysia, Singapore, or the UK.
• For Senior Legal Contract Manager: Minimum of 7 years' PQE, experience as an in-house lawyer or with a reputable commercial law firm.
• For Legal Contract Manager: Minimum of 5 years' PQE, experience as an in-house lawyer or with a reputable commercial law firm.
• Strong legal analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound knowledge of corporate and contract law.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintaining company policies.
