Digital Banking Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Banking Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in digital banking, specifically within the retail banking sub-domain. The successful candidate will work on developing, enhancing, and maintaining our digital banking platforms, ensuring seamless integration with our core banking systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain digital banking applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, XML, and SQL.
• Implement integration solutions using Apache Camel (CXF) and Spring Batch.
• Manage and optimize Oracle databases to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Ensure seamless integration of digital banking platforms with core banking systems.
• Work with WebLogic Portal for application deployment and management.
• Develop and maintain Unix scripts for various automation tasks on HPUX, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.
• Utilize DevOps practices to automate deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Generate and analyze management reports to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
• Utilize reporting tools and techniques to present data effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in digital banking.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing systems and processes, and implement solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in digital banking development, specifically within retail banking.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, XML, and SQL.
• Proficient in Unix scripting and familiar with HPUX, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
