Our Manufacturing Division is expanding! We are looking for a SolidCAM CNC Programmer for our automotive parts (two-wheels) manufacturing arm. This role will be responsible for creating and modifying computer programs that control CNC machines to produce precise parts and products. This role will interpret engineering drawings and use CAD/CAM software to write programs in G-code, set up machine tools, and ensure the machines are properly calibrated.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine dimensions, machine speeds, and feed rates.
2. Prepare CNC programming with CAD/CAM software, monitor CNC programs, and ensure accuracy through comparison with drawings and designs.
3. Set up CNC programs for new products and determine suitable fixtures for manufacturing.
4. Determine correct cutting tools to optimize machining times, surface finish, and accuracy.
5. Notify QC or management of any non-conforming products.
6. Create and compile documentation for CNC machine setup, including instruction sheets for cutter tools.
7. Review and verify design drawings and technical documentation for correctness and accuracy.
8. Continuously improve programming processes and procedures.
9. Perform other duties or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.
10. Oversee the overall production process and report major issues.
11. Implement 5S and Kaizen activities regularly.
12. Establish or review safety procedures to ensure compliance with OHS guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree or technical training in CNC machining.
2. Min 2-3 years of experience with SolidCAM and HyperMILL in machining and programming.
3. Knowledge of setting up and operating 5-axis CNC machines.
4. Good understanding of Geometrical Dimensional Tolerances.
5. Ability to interpret technical drawings.
6. Skilled in recognizing machine or tool malfunctions.
7. Capable of using common measuring equipment.
8. Experience as a Machinist is an advantage.
9. Independent with minimal supervision.
10. Good problem-solving skills.

Additional info:

This role is based in Sri Cheeding, Jenjarom / Banting by end 2025. Willingness to relocate is preferred.

Working days: Mon to Fri, 8am to 5.30pm; Sat 8am - 1.15pm.
