What your typical day will look like:
As the Payroll Specialist, you will assist in all aspects of the monthly payroll processing for Malaysia and Taiwan.
Core responsibilities include:
Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including monthly payroll execution, payment file submission, and handling employee benefits and tax code reviews.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee lifecycle events such as new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and temporary workers.
Handle leaver processing and ensure all final deductions are accurately captured in the payroll system.
Act as the first point of contact for payroll and tax-related employee queries, managing tickets through the Ask HR platform.
A bit about you:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience, ideally within an HR Shared Services environment.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance in APAC, particularly in Malaysia and Taiwan.
Proficiency in Mandarin is necessary to support payroll processing and communication for Taiwan, a Mandarin-speaking market.
