The Food & Beverage Service Manager is concerned with the strategic management of the Food and Beverage outlets in accordance with prescribed Hilton policies and procedures.

What will I be doing?

  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by delivering exceptional food and beverage quality and service. Resolve guest complaints and feedback promptly, maintaining a professional and courteous approach.
  • Anticipate guest needs and personalize their dining experiences.
  • Lead, and coach the food and beverage team to enhance team performance and uphold the hotel’s service standards.
  • Conduct regular performance feedback to improve individual and team effectiveness.
  • Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficient workflows and timely service. This includes monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies to maintain smooth operations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation within the food and beverage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all areas of food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals, control costs, and maximize profitability. This includes preparing and managing departmental budgets, including tracking expenses and managing labor costs.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Collaborate with chefs to create innovative, seasonal, and culturally relevant menus for all dining outlets. Review and update menus regularly to stay current with food trends and guest expectations.
  • Work with the marketing team to create and implement food and beverage promotions and special events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers including negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure quality products at competitive rates.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety, alcohol service, and labor laws.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance, guest feedback, and financial outcomes for senior management.

What are we looking for?

  • 3 years managerial position in a 4 / 5-star category hotel.
  • Pleasant personality and good at relationship-building.
  • Motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seizing opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge to improve personal performance.
  • Knowledgeable of Food & Beverage operations and skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple food and beverage outlets simultaneously, ensuring each operates efficiently, meets service standards and maintains quality control.
  • Knowledge of hotel-specific technologies for reservations, guest management, and food inventory systems used across the property.
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written to meet business needs.
  • Ability to speak the local language.
  • Skills in managing guest complaints, troubleshooting service issues, and turning negative experiences into positive ones, maintaining a reputation for excellence.
  • Ability to make critical decisions under pressure, ensuring service is not compromised during high-stress periods.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members towards work excellence.
