YOUR TASKS
  • Liase closely with Sales Channels and other departments within DHL to ensure that a full cost-effective service is maintained and that targets for the area are achieved.
  • Ensure cooperation with other members of the sales team and throughout the sales force.
  • Formulate a personal sales plan that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business prospects and maximizes growth within the existing client base so that the required personal sales results are achieved.
  • Manage revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling tactics to exceed this budget through calls.
  • Combine sales skills with DHL product/service knowledge and convert the maximum possible prospect leads into accounts, emphasizing those with maximum revenue potential, to increase the size and quality of DHL’s account holders.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of DHL’s services and general commercial awareness to provide the best possible customer service and maximize the department’s contribution to sales.
  • Adhere to regional standards on profit margins and discount guidelines.
  • Open new accounts and ensure they trade profitably.
  • Ensure all customer agreements are cost-sensitive, with minimum pricing tariffs set and adhered to. Deviations require management approval and justification.
  • Maintain customer information accurately on the database and report regularly on department effectiveness and productivity.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Exhibits ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness, and empathy.
  • Possesses well-developed relationship skills and the ability to network across various organizational levels and business units.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline and/or 3-4 years of sales and account management experience.
  • Experience working in a Contact Centre (Outbound) environment.
