Responsibilities

Facilities

  • Ensure that the school environment is safe, operational, and complies with government regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and execute policies, processes, preventive measures, and SOPs to ensure compliance for the school, staff, and third-party providers.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, draft maintenance plans, and oversee repairs and improvements.
  • Maintain building structures and equipment, ensuring safety and presentability.
  • Maintain grounds, sports fields, and landscape presentation.
  • Oversee facility refurbishments and renovations.
  • Coordinate third-party service providers and ensure quality standards.
  • Liaise with security, cleaning, and catering teams to ensure sufficient manpower and quality services.
  • Manage external service providers like engineers and inspectors.
  • Plan staffing levels and manage staff performance and training.
  • Handle complaints related to facilities and safety promptly.
  • Review contracts and vendor agreements.
  • Organize safety programs and drills.
  • Ensure event logistics and safety compliance.
  • Prepare reports for government bodies and manage documentation.
  • Manage budgets, cost estimates, and procurement processes.
  • Implement energy and water-saving initiatives.

Events and Logistics

  • Guide the Events and Logistics team on daily operations, including canteen, student and parent events, trips, and transportation coordination.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • At least six years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards.
  • Proactive, independent, and eager to learn.
  • Meticulous and well-presented work habits.
