Job description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions of the Company.
  • Manage & lead the finance team to ensure the day-to-day operation of overall accounting & financial activities.
  • Prepare and manage budget & cash flow forecasts including financial analysis to control cost and improve overall financial performance.
  • Perform financial analysis and review annual budgets and perform analysis in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Liaise with the relevant government authorities for approval and compliance, external auditors / tax agents / banker / analysts.
  • Involve in directing and implementing financial and accounting systems, policies and procedures that contribute to good commercial management of the Company’s business and ensure good internal controls are in place.
  • Overseeing tax and other regulatory compliance records.
  • Preparation of specific analysis according to management requests and needs.
  • Support the Management in the areas of cash management, banking relationships and systems, funding, foreign exchange and working capital management.
  • Providing coaching and mentoring for subordinates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
  • SAP knowledge will be advantage
  • Able to communicate in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Preference will be given to candidates with manufacturing background and costing experience
  • The work location is in Chemor, Perak (near Klebang, approximately 30 minutes' drive from Ipoh)
