Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
3. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
4. Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis.
5. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
6. Proficiency in English & Mandarin is required to facilitate communication with teams in China.

Cost Accounting:

1. Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
2. Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
3. Prepare cost reports and analyze cost variances.
4. Monitor inventory levels and perform cost allocations.
5. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new projects and initiatives.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

1. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
2. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
3. Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
4. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

1. Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
2. Conduct internal audits and identify areas for improvement.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
4. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
• Proven experience in financial accounting and cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

Language proficiency in English & Mandarin is required.

Experience with taxation is advantageous.
