Technical Skills:

  1. Agile & DevOps Principles: Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and basic DevOps practices.
  2. Tools Proficiency: Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Mural, and other collaboration tools.
  3. Software Development: Understanding of software development processes and lifecycle, with moderate familiarity with coding practices and frameworks.
  4. Automation: Knowledge of test automation and the ability to implement Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices is advantageous.
  5. Data Analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret key delivery metrics to promote transparency and continuous improvement.

Years of Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience coaching in a software development or IT delivery environment.

    • Servant Leadership: Ability to lead by example, support team members, and foster a collaborative environment.
    • Mentoring: Experience coaching Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Chapter Leads on Agile principles.
    • Facilitation: Skilled in facilitating Agile events and workshops to achieve positive outcomes.
  2. Communication and Collaboration:
    • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
    • Leadership Presence: Ability to inspire confidence among peers, colleagues, and senior leaders.
  3. Change Management:
    • Organizational Change: Ability to embed Agile values and principles, and optimize new ways of working.
    • Psychological Safety: Promote a safe environment for sharing ideas and suggestions.
  4. Outcome Focused:
    • Business Value Delivery: Ensure Agile practices align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
    • OKRs and Metrics: Lead the definition and tracking of Objectives and Key Results.
  5. Responsibilities in the CI Tribe:
    • Support Tribe Goals: Help achieve the tribe’s mission through Agile practices and autonomy.
    • Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement coaching interventions to enhance Agile maturity.
    • Boost Engagement: Foster an inclusive environment supporting growth and success.
