Our client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team!

They offer integrated tools and technologies that accelerate sample preparation, amplification, cloning, expression, next-generation sequencing, custom oligonucleotide synthesis, and more. With a global customer base, our client is at the forefront of innovation in genomics research and applications.

What you'll be doing?

1. Customer Support: Build strong relationships with key account customers in APAC, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and optimal software utilization.
2. Technical Expertise: Perform site preparation, instrument installations, training, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
3. Global Collaboration: Function as part of a wider support team, offering 24/7 emergency service and troubleshooting assistance.
4. Mentorship: Guide and develop junior service engineers through daily activities and coaching.
5. Documentation: Create training materials and technical documentation to support customer success.
6. Customer Relationship Management: Use the SFDC CRM platform for service case tracking.
7. Continuous Improvement: Seek ways to optimize technical support and processes for better customer satisfaction.

Who are they looking for?

1. Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering, analytical, or life science field.
2. Experience: Minimum 3 years supporting analytical or life science instrumentation as a service engineer.
3. Technical Skills: Knowledge of PCR and/or Liquid handling automation from leading suppliers is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
4. Travel Readiness: Willing to travel 50-60% in APAC and occasionally to USA and EMEA for training.
