Perform radiotherapy and CT simulation procedures independently.

To perform a range of radiotherapy services, respecting the rights of privacy and confidentiality, and to evaluate the clinical quality of the images produced.

To guide, instruct, and encourage patients receiving radiotherapy and to advise patients on necessary aftercare.

Be able to accurately position patients and operate highly complex radiotherapy and imaging equipment along the radiotherapy pathway.

To accurately interpret treatment prescriptions and treatment plans using knowledge gained during training and any postgraduate experience.

To ensure that treatment accessories and equipment are cleaned and kept in good working order.

To report any untoward incidents involving patients, staff, or equipment directly to the e-incident report as soon as possible and in accordance with hospital policy.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience
• Observation skills and attention to detail to ensure correct dose is given
• Ability to reassure patients and explain procedures to patients
• Competent in the use of Oncology Management System
• Understanding of the cancer patient pathway and associated clinical procedures
• Technical knowledge of radiotherapy quality control
