The Senior Production Control Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing production planning, scheduling, and inventory control processes. This role ensures efficient workflow, timely delivery of products, and minimal production downtime. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
  2. Monitor production processes to ensure optimal resource utilization and efficiency.
  3. Analyze production data and identify areas for process improvement.
  4. Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
  5. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize waste and stock discrepancies.
  6. Work with quality control teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  7. Troubleshoot production bottlenecks and suggest corrective actions.
  8. Prepare reports on production performance, efficiency, and forecasting.
  9. Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines in production processes.
  10. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
