Job description:
Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
- To lead the QAQC team consisting of QAQC Engineers.
- To monitor and ensure the implementation of QAQC processes at the site via inspections as per the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), surveillance checks, routine audits, and document reviews.
- To centrally coordinate, update, and report the status of QAQC implementation on site to the QAQC Lead based on the outcomes from on-site inspections.
- To interface, communicate, and attend meetings with trade package managers and contractors as necessary to ensure QAQC requirements and processes are met.
- To investigate, assess, and follow up with trade package managers on mitigation plans or methods to address QAQC deficiencies at the site.
- To review and approve the issuance of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) raised by QAQC Engineers.
- To recommend the issuance of Stop Work Orders to the QAQC Lead.
- To analyze trends of NCRs and address impacts to the project based on risk levels. Also, to track, follow up, and ensure timely closure.
- To work with QA engineers on data compilation and statistical analysis.
- To guide QA/QC engineers on specific tasks such as routine checks of risk registers and site implementation of required controls.
- To work closely with the Client or Client representatives and attend meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Skills & Abilities
- Well-versed with QAQC requirements for installation, testing, commissioning of MEP equipment.
- Experience in Data Centre projects will be an advantage.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years as a Manager or Assistant Manager.
