Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
  • To lead the QAQC team consisting of QAQC Engineers.
  • To monitor and ensure the implementation of QAQC processes at the site via inspections as per the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), surveillance checks, routine audits, and document reviews.
  • To centrally coordinate, update, and report the status of QAQC implementation on site to the QAQC Lead based on the outcomes from on-site inspections.
  • To interface, communicate, and attend meetings with trade package managers and contractors as necessary to ensure QAQC requirements and processes are met.
  • To investigate, assess, and follow up with trade package managers on mitigation plans or methods to address QAQC deficiencies at the site.
  • To review and approve the issuance of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) raised by QAQC Engineers.
  • To recommend the issuance of Stop Work Orders to the QAQC Lead.
  • To analyze trends of NCRs and address impacts to the project based on risk levels. Also, to track, follow up, and ensure timely closure.
  • To work with QA engineers on data compilation and statistical analysis.
  • To guide QA/QC engineers on specific tasks such as routine checks of risk registers and site implementation of required controls.
  • To work closely with the Client or Client representatives and attend meetings as required.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Skills & Abilities
  1. Well-versed with QAQC requirements for installation, testing, commissioning of MEP equipment.
  2. Experience in Data Centre projects will be an advantage.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
  1. Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years as a Manager or Assistant Manager.
