Supply Chain Management - Inventory Specialist

As an SCM - Inventory Specialist, you will utilize your expertise in data analysis to optimize inventory management and improve overall supply chain performance. You will analyze inventory data, forecast demand trends, and develop strategies to reduce costs, minimize stockouts, and maintain inventory accuracy. Your work will directly contribute to smarter decision-making and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform detailed analysis of inventory data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization.
2. Develop and manage inventory forecasting models to ensure appropriate stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
3. Collaborate with the supply chain team to analyze inventory turnover rates, order patterns, and demand forecasts.
4. Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to improve accuracy.
5. Generate regular reports and present findings to management, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inventory control strategies, suggesting improvements where necessary.
7. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives related to inventory management and storage.
8. Use data-driven approaches to streamline processes, optimize stock replenishment, and reduce lead times.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 5 years in inventory management or supply chain analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc.).
• Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Solid understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
