Job description

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate between sales personnel, production and logistic department for export shipment
  • Prepare all export documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping and customs regulations
  • Issue export document and update shipment schedule
  • Coordinate with the forwarder and forwarding agents for shipment bookings and ensure all necessary shipping documents are prepared
  • Communicate and coordinate with forwarders and forwarding agents to arrange shipment schedules, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any shipping-related issues
  • Ensure proper handling and transportation of goods in accordance with international shipping guidelines
  • Monitoring and update shipment status based on incoterm
  • Complete K2 customs forms for exporting goods from Malaysia to neighboring nations

Job Requirements

  • Preferable Mandarin candidates
  • Fresh graduates with no prior experience are welcomed
  • Knowledge in export documentation and procedure
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with customs documentation, particularly K2 forms used for exporting goods from Malaysia to neighboring countries
  • Familiarity with shipping processes is required
  • Completion of the Customs Agent Course (KEK) and Shipping Agent Course (KEP) is added advantage
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office application (particularly Excel, Word)
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • Must be goal-oriented, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detailed, organized and good time management
  • Strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Being cooperative is very important in the role
  • Fast learner, pro-active, self-driven and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision
