Your key responsibilities:
  • Plan equipment layouts in plant, office, and production facilities, and establish standards to improve industrial engineering techniques.
  • Analyze existing industrial engineering techniques and develop recommendations to minimize costs and time, increase yields and productivity, and improve product quality and consistency.
  • Conduct studies to determine the most efficient operations sequence and workflow, recommending methods for optimal utilization of facilities and personnel. Use independent judgment for moderately complex and non-routine assignments.
  • Provide engineering advice on industrial activities; prepare reports on production methods, equipment layout, and utilization.
  • Understand client needs, technical specifications, parts drawings, and engineering data to develop new techniques and estimate project costs and timelines.
  • This role includes additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
What you will bring to the team:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
  • At least three years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts such as Takt time, Cycle time, Lead time, work instructions, and FMEA.
  • Experience with Project Management and process improvement projects.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective time management.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, especially German, Mandarin, and Polish. We are particularly seeking Mandarin-speaking candidates for serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record in executing continuous improvement projects is preferred.
