Job summary

A leading company is urgently hiring for the position of Account Payable Executive in Puchong. The role involves managing accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate accounting records. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in accounting, along with relevant experience and proficiency in MS Excel. Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

URGENTLY HIRING - ACCOUNT PAYABLE EXECUTIVE (PUCHONG - 1 POSITION)

• Handle Accounts Payable processes, including vendors, claims, utilities, and other payables.

• Manage daily accounting tasks such as maintaining the company's accounting records, filing, and payments, and verifying all payments.

• Update cash flow forecasts and creditor lists accordingly.

• Ensure finance staff adhere to cut-off dates and complete month-end transactions by reporting deadlines.

• Assist in preparing Journal Vouchers.

• Monitor documentation submissions from departments to ensure timely submission before cut-off dates.

• Control payouts and monitor to ensure they stay within the allocated budget.

• Responsible for transaction recording and proper filing.

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.

• Monitor outstanding payments to vendors and principals.

• Experience in stock-taking and compliance is an advantage.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in handling full set of accounts is advantageous.
  • Immediate availability to report to work.
