Role Purpose
The Head of Commercial & Finance is responsible for driving MAB Academy's (MABA) commercial success and financial sustainability. This role leads revenue generation, market expansion, and strategic partnerships to position MABA as a leader in aviation training and development. It ensures robust financial planning, budgeting, and compliance while identifying new revenue streams and business opportunities. With a focus on growth, profitability, and market leadership, this role is vital in shaping MABA's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate, evaluate, and drive the long-term business objectives, plans, and strategies.
- Manage MAB Academy's products and services, overseeing its P&L to ensure sustainability and growth.
- Develop frameworks for growth and profitability; lead business development through building a high-performing sales & marketing team.
- Support management in developing KPIs and performance metrics for monitoring performance.
- Lead projects and initiatives, ensuring performance delivery and standards.
- Design and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and attract customers.
- Lead marketing and communications efforts to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Drive revenue growth via dynamic pricing, market expansion, and customer experience improvements.
- Establish customer experience strategies to foster loyalty and engagement.
- Provide insights to leadership to address performance gaps and improve commercial outcomes.
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Develop and oversee data collection, dashboards, and reporting for continuous improvement.
- Manage strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance.
- Lead partnership agreements and strategic projects.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for sustainability.
- Provide financial insights for decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Prepare financial reports, conduct cost analyses, and monitor performance metrics.
- Implement financial process improvements, automation, and digital transformation.
- Lead and mentor teams to foster high performance and continuous learning.
- Manage resource planning for optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Recognized tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Management, with over 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, and related fields.
