Role Purpose

The Head of Commercial & Finance is responsible for driving MAB Academy's (MABA) commercial success and financial sustainability. This role leads revenue generation, market expansion, and strategic partnerships to position MABA as a leader in aviation training and development. It ensures robust financial planning, budgeting, and compliance while identifying new revenue streams and business opportunities. With a focus on growth, profitability, and market leadership, this role is vital in shaping MABA's long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Formulate, evaluate, and drive the long-term business objectives, plans, and strategies.
  2. Manage MAB Academy's products and services, overseeing its P&L to ensure sustainability and growth.
  3. Develop frameworks for growth and profitability; lead business development through building a high-performing sales & marketing team.
  4. Support management in developing KPIs and performance metrics for monitoring performance.
  5. Lead projects and initiatives, ensuring performance delivery and standards.
  6. Design and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and attract customers.
  7. Lead marketing and communications efforts to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  8. Drive revenue growth via dynamic pricing, market expansion, and customer experience improvements.
  9. Establish customer experience strategies to foster loyalty and engagement.
  10. Provide insights to leadership to address performance gaps and improve commercial outcomes.
  11. Identify and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
  12. Develop and oversee data collection, dashboards, and reporting for continuous improvement.
  13. Manage strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance.
  14. Lead partnership agreements and strategic projects.
  15. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for sustainability.
  16. Provide financial insights for decision-making and operational efficiency.
  17. Prepare financial reports, conduct cost analyses, and monitor performance metrics.
  18. Implement financial process improvements, automation, and digital transformation.
  19. Lead and mentor teams to foster high performance and continuous learning.
  20. Manage resource planning for optimal productivity and efficiency.
  21. Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience

Recognized tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Management, with over 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, and related fields.
