We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team. The role involves developing effective procurement strategies, building supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, managing orders, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
  2. Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  3. Place orders, manage procurement processes, and ensure timely delivery.
  4. Ensure purchased products meet quality standards.
  5. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  6. Enhance procurement processes and optimize inventory flow.
  7. Ensure legal compliance and uphold ethical sourcing practices.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  1. Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement or purchasing.
  3. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  4. Strong analytical skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Understanding of supply chain management principles.
  7. Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  8. Languages: English, Mandarin, Malay. Fluency in Mandarin preferred due to interactions with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and clients.
