Data Architect Role at Our Company
The Data Architecture & Management Team is a diverse group located mainly in Germany and across Europe. The team defines global data architecture guidelines and is responsible for data management topics, including data quality.
Your Tasks: Meaningful & Challenging
- Business Information Model: Collaborate closely with other architects to develop the Business Information Model, serving as a crucial blueprint.
- Architecture Modelling: Develop and maintain architecture and business process models aligned with business requirements, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability for various use cases.
- Data Governance: Work with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership and stewardship, and develop common data domain models across business units.
- Data Catalogue: Implement architecture best practices to create a common business vocabulary, enabling stakeholders to understand and communicate about data assets, including their structure, usage, and governance.
- Data Storage: Evaluate and select suitable data storage solutions considering scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Data Monetization: Identify revenue opportunities from data assets and collaborate on creating data products and services.
Your Profile: Authentic & Ambitious
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields with extensive experience in IT and data architecture & management.
- Proven experience working with stakeholders from different countries and backgrounds.
- Hands-on experience with architecture and business process modelling, and implementing data architecture principles in multiple projects.
- Good knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Integration, Azure data technologies, data monetization strategies, and successful implementation.
- Strong proficiency with data catalogue tools such as Erwin-DIS, Collibra, Informatica.
- Familiarity with AI and ML frameworks, algorithms, and their integration into data architecture.
- Proficiency in English.
