Job Summary

As an e-Commerce Operations Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations to support the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders in an online retail setting. You will manage inventory levels, optimize warehouse layout, coordinate order processing, and lead a team to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products. Your role involves maintaining high standards of quality control, implementing safety protocols, and utilizing technology to enhance operational efficiency. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement inventory optimization strategies.
2. Order Fulfilment: Coordinate picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
3. Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback, returns, and inquiries to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
4. Office Administration Optimization: Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
5. Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff; set performance goals and provide ongoing feedback and support.
6. Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure products meet standards before shipment.
7. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a safe working environment.
8. Technology Utilization: Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning, and other tools to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
9. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on key performance metrics, analyse data to identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize operations.
10. Special Projects assigned by HOD: Lead and participate in special projects aimed at improving warehouse efficiency, such as process automation, layout optimization, and technology implementation.

Skills Required

1. Previous experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in an eCommerce or retail environment.
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
4. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technologies.
5. Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
6. Knowledge of inventory management best practices and quality control processes.
7. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.

Requirements

1. Able to work 45 hours weekly, Monday till Sunday (2 Days off weekly, 9AM -7 PM Daily).
2. Able to work overtime if required.
3. Minimum of Bachelor's degree, in a relevant field is a plus.
4. Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
5. Proficiency in basic data analytics tools.
6. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technologies.
7. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
