We are a multi-national company involved in developing, manufacturing, and marketing intelligent and ergonomic products, located in I-park Industrial Area, Kulai, Johor. We are looking to hire a Production Manager.

You will play an important role in:

1. Manage day-to-day operations for laser cutting, machining, and welding operations.
2. Team management, system monitoring, resource allocation, and job planning.
3. Organizing production schedules according to the plan from the Production Planner and reporting results.
4. Ensuring targeted output and quality, including planning necessary resources (workforce, production tools, etc).
5. Supervising a team of production personnel to achieve daily production output and balance manpower.
6. Complying with company standard operating procedures, production requirements, and Safety & Health rules and regulations. Establishing and implementing production procedures according to ISO requirements.
7. Ensuring workforce training according to the training plan and maintaining records.
8. Developing and maintaining the skill matrix. Supervising and evaluating the performance of the production crew.
9. Managing production inventories and overseeing monthly stock takes.
10. Generating necessary production reports.
11. Maintaining the effectiveness of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

• Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Engineering.
• 10 or more years of production management experience in the metal machining field.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the overall business environment & able to motivate workforce to achieve corporate objectives.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required for liaising with stakeholders from China.
