About the role

Join our dynamic team at ABSOLUTE NEXUS SDN. BHD. as an Account Executive. In this full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bookkeeping and accounting services to our valued small business clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including transactions, accounts receivable and payable, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Preparing monthly financial statements, reports, and other documents for clients.
  3. Liaising with clients to gather financial information and answer queries.
  4. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  5. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes and procedures.
  6. Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a small practice or SME environment.
  3. Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry and administrative skills.
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software, such as AUTOCOURT/SQL and others.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  6. Sound knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
