A leading company in real estate development is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in planning and coordinating daily project activities. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or degree in Engineering with at least 1 year of experience in construction or related fields. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. The role involves supporting project teams, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
To assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating day-to-day project activities.
To handle administrative tasks related to project operations.
Track, maintain, and update all project documentation, files, and records.
Provide support to the project team for both office-based and site-based tasks.
Follow up with external parties, consultants, and vendors on documentation and approvals.
Assist in the preparation of project presentations and progress reports for stakeholders.
Prepare and compile submission documents for local authorities and relevant bodies.
Monitor project timelines and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
Maintain project calendars and schedule appointments, meetings, and deadlines.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth project flow and resource allocation.
Assist in procurement processes, including sourcing and tracking of materials.
Attend project meetings and take minutes of discussions and follow-up actions.
Support in identifying potential project issues and proposing practical solutions.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in updating As-Built drawings and other drafting tasks.
Handle any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
Track and follow up on pending tasks or deliverables from various project team members.
Job Requirements:
Candidates should possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related fields.
Minimum of 1 year working experience in real estate, construction, or related fields.
Strong motivation, interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Pleasant personality, good attitude, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle multiple demands, be well-organized, detail-oriented, and meet deadlines.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Required skills include MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
