Job summary

A leading company in the energy sector is seeking an experienced HSE professional for a contract role lasting approximately 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE systems and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires collaboration with various teams to enhance the safety culture and manage risks effectively. Ideal candidates will have a degree in HSE or related fields and substantial experience in the Oil Construction Industry.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of HSE experience in the Oil Construction Industry.
  • Possess a Safety and Health Officer relevant certification.

  • Provide policies and guidelines to clients during project execution.
  • Develop and implement project-specific HSE systems.
  • Review contractor HSES documentation as needed.

Job description

This is a contract basis for ± 12 months duration.

Responsibilities
  • Provide policies, procedures, guidelines, and instructions to clients during project execution through to close-out, utilizing expert resources and applying COMPANY best practices.
  • Develop and implement project-specific HSE systems and requirements, collaborating with and integrating within Projects to maximize the value of COMPANY's capital projects.
  • Implement and monitor a consistent, risk-based HSES culture throughout the project.
  • Develop and oversee an integrated approach to HSES risk management across all project phases, ensuring the contractor's implementation of mitigation measures.
  • Review contractor HSES documentation (Policies, Procedures, etc.) as needed and perform Gap Analyses when required.
  • Create an Annual Assurance Master Plan (AAM), conduct first-line functional assurance, monitor effectiveness, and assist in implementing the Project HSES Management Plan.
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Engineering, or Science.
  • At least 7 years of HSE experience in the Oil Construction Industry.
  • Possess a Safety and Health Officer relevant certification.
