Job summary:
Analyzing sales by channel and area to identify potential strategic locations during festive periods to drive sales growth volume, monitoring sales team achievements. Resolve issues related to trade, outlets, or stores concerning execution, order processing, trade returns, and other obstacles impacting sales and execution.
General responsibilities:
- Lead the development of sales plans and cascade the monthly promotional canvas plan across all regions, monitoring compliance with execution standards.
- Generate data and cross-check orders, implementing mitigation plans as needed to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with other departments to analyze sales performance by channel and area, and develop strategies to address shortfalls and meet objectives.
- Build and leverage relationships with key retail customers.
- Manage and oversee the sales team’s performance against targets.
- Drive learning and development within the team, promoting DKSH behaviors to achieve team and organizational goals.
- Encourage self-learning and continuous improvement among the sales team.
- Manage sales operations and promote DKSH behaviors as part of ongoing learning.
Functional skills and knowledge:
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of the industry, market, competitors, and customers.
- Exhibit strong customer management skills.
- Understand client and customer relationship management comprehensively.
- Show advanced research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Chinese is an advantage for liaising with Chinese-speaking customers.
Education:
Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
Work experience:
- Minimum five to eight years of experience in a similar role.
- Minimum two to three years of managerial experience.
