You will deliver DevOps support for part of a given business area to DHL countries/functions, in order to ensure the maximum availability of these services to the business and the smooth deployment of new or improved services with minimal disruption to business continuity.

The role of a DevOps Analyst is a combination of developer, deep knowledge about technical design, tester, and support. You are an important part of an agile team; you need to understand and implement the requirements based on the best technical solution and consider the reusability of the developed code. You are responsible for the technical testing of the code and need to use automation wherever possible.

For the DevOps Analyst role, possessing experience in developing & supporting enterprise-level applications is highly advantageous. Proficiency or foundation we can build on in Java, Linux, SQL Developer, Scripting, and Splunk. Additionally, experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, Microsoft Azure, and Openshift would be advantageous.
This position requires the ability to work autonomously, effectively prioritize tasks, and manage workload under pressure. Given the multinational nature of our environment, proficiency in spoken and written English is invaluable for seamless collaboration with teams across regions.

Hi, I'm Thangaraj Shanmugam, and I currently serve as a Manager at DHL IT Services. I began my journey at DHL IT Services in 2015 as a Senior Application Support Specialist with the Global Rating Engine team. My passion for working closely with the Rating & Billing team fueled my growth within the company, and I quickly advanced to the role of Principal Application Support Specialist.
